A webcast is similar to a TV broadcast, only through the internet. There may be opportunity for audience engagement, but the focus is on creating a live or semi-live presentation to be viewed by many.

Webcasts are a good tool when you need to promote a specific initiative or policy to a large audience, with feedback response to be addressed separately.

The preparation is similar to that for a webinar, although the technology may sometimes be different. We'll discuss your objectives and content with you and help you decide on the best tools and approach for your project. Possible tasks in addition to packaging your webinar program include:

  • Announcements/Promotions
  • Registration
  • Login to additional resources
  • Follow up, including surveys and quizzes
  • Attendance tracking and reports
